Mac & Jack's BACK ON TAP!

Who knows how long this keg will last, so come on it for the northwest favorite, Mac & Jack's Amber Ale. The Mac and Jack's company explains their classic beer like this: The Northwest’s original, unfiltered and dry hopped amber ale. African Amber’s pioneering and innovative style is proof that drink-abilty does not have to be achieved by sacrificing flavor. This beer erupts with a floral, hoppy taste, followed by a well rounded malty middle, finishing with a nicely organic hop flavor. Locally sourced two row grain and a blend of specialty malts give our amber its rich taste. Further complexity is achieved by leaving the beer unfiltered, providing exceptional flavor, as well as giving our amber its unique "cloudy" look. Lastly, we actually place a bag of fresh, locally grown, Yakima valley hops in each keg creating what has become the original, cult classic, northwest amber ale.
Come on into the Wig Wam Pub in Bremerton today for a cold one!

Wig Wam Pub or Wig Wam Tavern? Which is it?!

We know, we know. It is a little confusing. When we started out, we thought we were going to be the Wig Wam Tavern, but as things started coming together and the business was formed, we actually ended up being the Wig Wam Pub. We're doing our best to clear up any confusion. With the wide use of the internet these, it's not always easy to fix information that is out there in cyber space, but we are working on it. If you hear someone talking about the Wig Wam Tavern, please give our apologies and let them know we are really the Wig Wam Pub. Or just call us the Wig Wam! What ever you call us, we're still 'the gathering place' for all the good folks of Mason & Kitsap County serving cold beer & delicious BBQ and we look forward to seeing you soon!

Pike Brewing - Post Alley Porter - LAST KEG on tap at the Wig Wam Pub

The delicious porter by the name of Post Alley Porter won't be around long. We've tapped the last keg and it's going fast! This seasonal brew from Pike Brewery was named for the 104 year old "thoroughtfare,' a brick paved alley from the waterfront with a steepness that would allow a dray carrying a wagon-load of fish up to the Pike Place Public Market. The main entrance to the Pike Brewery is on Post Alley. The Post Alley Porter is robust and smooth with a slight sweetness and a velvety head. In a nutshell- its' very yummy!
Come on down to the Wig Wam Pub and get yourself a pint before you miss it for the season! Cheers!

Alaskan Brewing Pilot Series - Coming soon to the Wig Wam Pub!

Something exciting is happening at Alaskan Brewing Company and we're looking forward to being a part of it! Alaskan Brewing Company presents the Pilot Series - Limited Edition Specialty Beers. The Alaskan Brew Crew has been creating a collection of big, bold and distinctive brews. Each recipe is perfected in their 10-barrel pilot brewhouse, then tested through a rough draft series of draft-only beers. Only the special brews that exceed expectations will ascend to become part of the limited release Alaskan Pilot Series.

What can we say? We get excited about new beers, especially from a brewery that is a staple in the Northwest beer lovers community.  Our excitement these days has Raspberry written all over it, or should we say Alaskan Raspberry Wheat Ale written all over it. In the next few weeks we'll be putting this baby on tap.
To quote the brewery: 'Alaskan Raspberry Wheat is an American-style Wheat Ale that highlights the bright flavors and inviting aroma of more than 3,000 pounds of real raspberries added during fermentation.
Years of local demand through Alaskan's Rough Draft program of draft-only releases and a Silver medal from the 2008 Great American Beer Festival make Alaskan Raspberry Wheat the perfect brew to launch the Alaskan Pilot Series.'

At the Wig Wam Pub there's always something new to try on tap. Come down and see us soon for a frosty cold beverage and bring your hunger- Our BBQ is the best in Kitsap County!
